Q: Do I need to bring sheets & towels?
A: No! We supply sheets & towels, but DO ask our guests to bring their own personal shower items (loofah, wash cloth, shampoo, etc.)
Q: Do I need to bring paper products? (Toilet paper & Paper towels)
A: Maybe. We supply a starter amount of each, which should be plenty for a 2-3 night stay. If you have a longer stay, or a large number of people, plan to bring or buy some
Q: Is there a Keurig or traditional drip coffee maker?
A: It is a traditional drip coffee maker. We supply filters. Please bring your own coffee & cream/sugar
Q: Do you have a blender?
A: No, sorry! Please bring your own if you'd like to enjoy frozen beverages
Q: How's the kitchen? Anything I should bring?
A: We take pride in having a decently equipped kitchen! However, if you plan to cook a lot, I usually recommend bringing your favorite sharp knife (we have plenty of knives, but I cannot speak to their sharpness at any given time), and maybe a favorite frying pan. We do have measuring cups, casserole dishes, a can opener, and pots & pans of various sizes. We do NOT have a slow cooker.
Q: Can I use the wood stove(s) inside?
A: Yes. The one in the living room lights right up. The small one in the kitchen was installed improperly, so it is very difficult to get lit. Please use common sense, and practice fire safety if you have fires indoors. See below regarding firewood
